• Adding spaces

I am pretty positive there was a sticky somewhere on how to modify templates etc. but i cannot find it right now. So, could someone tell me how do I add spaces between different forum sections to make it more pleasing to the eye. Also if I want to add a section to the forum and add a button to the top of the forum so it is always there similar to to the faq and search buttons that are displayed by default. I am trying to do this without actually installing the hack as I am pretty unfamiliar with all ins and outs of the software and trying to minimize problems when there is a need to upgrade my existing forum.

    Thanks.

It really should . You also should write tutorials and post them on your site, or better yet sell them. Since you are here and you are very good at explaining things step by step could I bug you for another problem. I want to add a template to the forum and have a button linking to that template. Example create a template called rules and have rules button on top of the forum linking to that template. How would I do it? .

By editing the forumhome and forumdisplay at the right place to show that button.

If you want it in the top menu, edit the header template (from styles section) and otherwise the footer template for the footer (also there).

Just add (or just type rules if you want a text link instead of img)
