  • error number 2014

Our forum, AusForum (http://www.ausforum.com), has been getting lots of database errors of late, all MySQL error number 2014, Commands out of sync; You can't run this command now. It is becoming nearly impossible to visit the site now with all these database errors. About two out of three pages loaded will be a database error. Hitting refresh enough times will fix the problem until the next one.

Upgrading to 2.2.9 RC (from 2.2.6) had no affect. The database repair
script was also run but unfortunately also had no affect.

None of the files have been edited, they are all original vBulletin files. Very few templates have been edited, it is very close to a stock-standard vBulletin setup.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

As I just replied in your support ticket, try restarting MySQL. If that doesn't work, then reboot the server.
