First new Post problems and others...

Kinda hard to describe.....but i will give it a try

When a post it made, it shows the down arrow for the first new post..... but it never goes away after being refreshed.

and it always shows new threads/post on the main page....even thought i have seen/read all new


what could cause these things?

most likely a setting issue, but i did not see anything that would directly affect these things

the down arrow stays there until your session ends... same with the new post markers on the index page.

as you read new posts in your forums you can click the "Mark this Forum Read" link in each forum to turn off the new post markers on the index page. to reset your session and mark everything as read you can click the "Mark All Forums Read" link on the index page.
