    Well its obvious you didnt delete your Config.php because you said your site was running fine, look in admin/config.php it's there if you still can't find it, look at the e-mail your host sent you for the sql database.

    You also mentioned that you did'nt need this password for anything.....

    How do you back up your database then? brave, brave man.

    The file you are/were supposed to remove after the installation is "install.php" not "config.php".

    If it is running fine, then it should still be there.

    How do I get my db password?

    My forum is setup and running fine, I just lost the password for the db itself. I don't need it for anything but would like to have it for my records. Is it stored in any of the files or inside the db? If so, where? Thanks.
