    What determines if the New Post icons are set?

    Is it the Last Visit field in the User Table?

    The Last Activity field in the User Table?

    Something else?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

      OK, I have a hack installed that I wrote to provide security on non VB pages that has worked for some time using the VBulletin user table for login information lookup.

      I would like to add to the hack to update the lastvisit field of the database so I know when the last time they logged into the site was, but I do not want to change the lastactivity field and alter the new post icons when they visit the forums.

      I put this code into my security file for when the user logs in, $username is a session variable that is created with their username in it, that works fine.

      include ("../vbulletin/gobal.php");
      if ($username!=0 and $username!=-1)
      {
      $DB_site->query("UPDATE user SET lastvisit='".time()."' WHERE userid='$username'");
      }

      The code above doesn't seem to set the lastvisit field at all.
      Any ideas?

        You'll need to ask hacking questions over at vbulletin.org. Good luck!
