    hard to say... you using plesk ? as i don't have any experience with plesk

      kernel upgrades it's best to get the host to do... as to php and mysql upgrades they can be more complicated when control panels such as ensim and plesk come into play.. you can try the plesk.com support forum to ask about properly upgrading mysql and php on your version of plesk
