Ok. I will let you know if I find any problems. Thanks for your help with this matter.

Do you know what SQL queries are required to associate users in the database?

    Thanks for your continued support.

I'm not sure what you're asking.

I have two users with the same username, as a result of the importation process. James Ussher-Smith stated that there was a way, using an SQL statement, to combine (associate) these users - effectively creating one user out of the two duplicate users.

        Does this clarify my question?

Yep, that clarifies it but unfortunately I don't know what that query is.

Ok. I will wait for James's answer to my ticket.

Thanks for your help. I will post again if I have any additional problems, not related to the conversion.

              Have these problems been resolved!!!!

When I used the importer I got exactly the same problems!!!!
Many threads became sticky, bbcode unusable due to the weird code conversion etc. Also, my forums where all converted wrong!!

                  Hi!
No, these problems have not been resolved completely. I am currently working with James (one of the vBulletin employees) to perfect a script to resolve the BBcode issue. I resolved the Sticky issue by manually unsticking each thread.

                  I hope this helps.

I tried using the phpbb2 importer from vbulletin.org instead of the official one!! It works perfectly and even imports private messages, avatars and more!! vbulletin should just use that one instead!!

                      Hi!
What is the link to that importer?

                      To vBulletin support:
Would there be an easy way to convert the previous forum database and then merge it with the data that has been added via vBulletin since then?

                      Thank you for your assistance.
