  • AOL Cookie remedy?

In another post I mentioned I temporarily removed the ability to select "remember me" in the registration and modify templates. I also ran a string in PHPmyAdmin to delete present cookies.

Then I ran into a problem with AOL members not being able to log in. They log in but are continually broght back to the log-in screen. That being the case, I put back the options in those 2 templates. However, this still leaves all those AOL members stranded because they cannot get into their CP to update/add cookie remember me option again.

Any ideas how I can fix this so everyone can be cookied? I still want the log-in screen. I really appreciate your help.

That has set all the setting "Remember username and password" in all your members User CP to "No."

Do the opposite to switch it back on:

        UPDATE user SET cookieuser=1

However, bear in mind that the latest AOL browser needs vB version 2.2.7 upwards to run properly.
