Upgraded To 2.2.8 And User Avatars Are Gone

Last week I upgraded my vBulletin forums from 2.2.7 to 2.2.8 and it seems to have reset my users' avatars to nothing. I've changed nothing with my avatars.

I've looked into various users' profiles and they all have no avatar chosen. They had avatars before.

Any clues how everyone can get their avatars reinstated? Or do they each have to go to their "user cp" and choose an avatar again?

There's nothing in the upgrade process that would have wiped out any user avatars. I upgraded successfully without this problem. Have you installed any hacks or modified the vB files in any way?
