how do I make a thread without a message in it??

hey guys, I want to add a comments section to my forum which will link directly to my site for commenting on files...


basically I want to create a thread, but I don't want my post to be in there, I just want the thread to be created?

That's a bug, not a feature

I think you can do it by manually deleting rows from the post table in the database, but I wouldn't do that. Instead I'd suggest requesting a hack at http://www.vbulletin.org/

hrm thanks filburt, it does work but is kinda a pain to do every time was hoping there was something official on it that could do it

Well there's no such feature, so you'd have to hack; at a bare minimum you'd have to edit the database by hand.
