  • can't edit users

Problems seem to be fond of me today..

when I edit a user, i got this problem.
    Code:
    ---
Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.4:

    Invalid SQL: SELECT userid
    					FROM user
    					WHERE username='luan'
    						AND userid <>
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 4

    mysql error number: 1064

Date: Tuesday 01st of October 2002 02:18:43 PM
    Script: http://lehongphong.com/forums/forums/admin/user.php
    Referer: http://lehongphong.com/forums/admin/...dit&userid=165
I saw that the userid was missing in the query, that caused the error. But how could it be empty like that??

    Thank you for reading.

This problem is caused by the latest versions of PHP which have broken some of the functions of older versions of vB. Your host must have recently upgraded to PHP 4.2.x. Unfortunately the only fix for you is to upgrade to vB 2.2.8.

      This help rocked.

Was having problems on upgrading a machine to the latest (php 4.2.3)

Thanks for the painless vb2.2.8 upgrade! It fixed everything!
