I downloaded Vb 2.2.7, and installed but it says its 2.2.6???
I think you have the wrong file there.

Well spotted Alex, sorry about that. I failed to update the version number in install.php. Please download the files again from the members area and install again.

It's the right file, just the wrong version number so you shouldn't have any problems using it if you don't feel like reinstalling.

Discussion threads end up being support threads, so we chose just to let people post in the relevant forums.

BTW, can you change you sig, since I've had several emails from people wanting vBulletin for free

                Hi there,

I got your email address from a signature on vbulletin on this page http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...threadid=50436

Saying you can offer vbulletin for free, if so can I have a copy of vbulletin please??

A download link or an email will do, I've been desparate to get it for ages but the price is rediculous!

If you could help I'd be grateful.

                Get back to me soon

Hmmm...why does everyone think that it's so funny that John's time was wasted dealing with these emails?

I think a few people are lacking common sense here (i.e the people e-mailing John).
