Reupload the original index.php file in ASCII.

umm i dont have the original ... if i use the original from the download will it still work ....?

What version are you running? If it's 2.2.6 then yes it will work. If not, then no.

ahhh crap .. .does ne one have the index.php for 2.2.5. or else my Vb is useless

You should have kept a backup copy of your files, particularly if you were going to hack them. This problem is caused by a hack you made to index.php. You might be able to fix it by editing index.php and removing this hack. However if that doesn't work, your best bet is to just upgrade to 2.2.6, which you should do anyway because of security issues.
