  • Thread Splitting/Merging

Hey. Is it possible to give Moderators permission to split/merge threads? If so, I can't figure out how to set it. Can anyone help? Or, if this isn't a feature now - would it be a good one to have in 3.0?

    Thanks...

This is an option in the Admin Options on the bottom right of every page, I believe the mod should be able to do it if they have mod permissions in that forum.

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Modify -> click [edit] on the moderator -> Can manage threads (move, copy, split, etc)

Thank you! That was helpful. It appears as if the Moderator of that particular forum can do the splitting, merging, etcetera.. Now, is there a way to make it so that all Moderators can do this all over the place? Or maybe I could make it so that Super Moderators can do this in any forum without being the Moderator for that forum?

I'm pretty sure Administrators can do it across the board without any setting. Right?

        Thanks again! This helped...

Yes, Administrators can do it everywhere. Settings them to Super Moderator would also let them do this. I'm not sure if there is a way to make them be able to do this all over the place without making them a Super Moderator.
