Please help. I have quite a few members complaning of this problem. It seems that if there are more than 4 or 5 "new posts" then the board won't display their links. Here is an image to show what I mean.

    Have you installed any hacks?

No I haven't. This is a stock board other than the looks of it.

What's the URL to your forums? This one:

        http://rgforum.sytes.net/

        ...gets redirected to here:

Not sure why it's redirecting to the "extras" directory. This isn't on my server, it belongs to a friend so I would have to contact him as to why it does that.

Here's a URL to see it in action:

            http://rgforum.sytes.net/search.php?...tdaily&days=14

I honestly don't know what would cause this. What version of PHP is running on your server? Try upgrading to 2.2.6. If you still have a problem after that, post here.

I have seen that 2.2.6 causes problems with avatars. We have quite alot of custom avatars that I don't want to chance losing.

Your choice of course, but Ed Sullivan put a fix for this problem in the final 2.2.6:

The avatars problem is *quite* obscure anyway. 99% of people won't ever have it.

Do you have phpMyAdmin/telnet access? If so, run this query and tell us what it returns:

                  Code:
                      SELECT
                        thread.threadid,thread.threadid AS postid,thread.title AS threadtitle,thread.iconid AS threadiconid,thread.replycount,
                        thread.views,thread.pollid,thread.open,thread.lastpost AS postdateline,thread.lastpost,thread.lastposter,
                        forum.forumid,forum.title AS forumtitle,forum.allowicons,attach,
                        thread.postusername AS usrname,
                        user.userid AS postuserid,
                        threadicon.iconpath AS threadiconpath,threadicon.title AS threadicontitle
                      FROM
                        thread,forum
                      LEFT JOIN user ON user.username=thread.postusername
LEFT JOIN icon AS threadicon ON thread.iconid=threadicon.iconid

                      WHERE
                        thread.forumid=forum.forumid AND thread.threadid IN (0,481,474,478,477,473,371,410,276,376,412,437,438,433,427)
                      ORDER BY
                        thread.lastpost DESC,thread.lastpost DESC
