  • Can't edit any of my users.

Whenever I try to edit any of myself or my users using the Admin Control Panel, this error is generated:

    Code:
Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.5:

    Invalid SQL: SELECT userid
    					FROM user
    					WHERE username='BF'
    						AND userid <>
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 4

    mysql error number: 1064

    Referer: [url]http://www.arsclan.net/forums/admin/user.php?action=edit&userid=11[/url]
Is this something I can fix myself? I really hope so, its very frustrating. I assume the syntax error is the "userid <>" portion. I'm using the latest stable releases of MySQL, PHP and VBulletin 2.2.5. Any help is appreciated in advance. I love the software but not being able to edit any users will severely affect my abilities to admin my forum.

        Persistent problem

I applied the aforementioned fix but still get the following error when trying to update user records:

Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.5:

        Invalid SQL: SELECT userid
        FROM user
        WHERE username='power daddy'
        AND userid <>
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 4

Any other suggestions? Any help appreciated.

That indicates that you did not successfully overwrite the current files. Perhaps you put them in the wrong directory? They go into the /admin directory.

Alternatively you could upgrade to v2.2.6
