  • Upgrade from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 fails

When I try upgrading my forums from 2.2.1 to 2.2.5 the end upgrade (upgrade18.php) fails to run.

    Upgrade 17 gave me this
All this upgrade script will do is update your version number. There were no template changes between all releases of 2.2.3 and 2.2.4.

    Updating version number .... Done!

    Upgrade to 2.2.4 completed successfully!
Please delete the following files if you uploaded them: install.php, and all files that begin with 'upgrade'

    Thank you for using vBulletin.

and then when I try and run upgrade18.php all I get is a blank white page. Nothing else. When I run a query on the DB it says version is 2.2.4 so I upgrade to that point fine. I can see no errors in the DB but I cant seem to get 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 to go!?

Any ideas? (btw I'm doing all the conversion work on my dev box so I actual forums are still running 2.2.1)

Reupload a fresh copy of upgrade18.php and try again.

looks like the upgrade18.php file wasn't uploaded completely

try deleting upgrade18.php on your server and set ftp app to ASCII mode and reuploading it
