  • Error Message - Can't access forums..

    Hi there,

I keep getting an error messages when trying to access my forums. They are at http://forums.shiningstarsites.com

It has been like this since last night. Is there anyway of fixing it without losing all the forums data and files? I'm using the latest version of vbulletin and haven't installed any hacks or modified any files. There are a couple of error message which show up but the current one is:

    Database error in vBulletin 2.2.5:

Invalid SQL: SELECT COUNT(*) AS posts FROM post
mysql error: Can't open file: 'post.MYD'. (errno: 145)

    mysql error number: 1016

Error code 145: Unknown error 145
145 = Table was marked as crashed and should be repaired

Upload repair.php (it's in the 'extras' folder of the zip file) to your admin Directory. Shut off your forums and run it from your browser with this syntax:

    repair.php?html=1&check=1

    This should repair that table.
