  • Admin panel calling up blank pages?

This is just a test vBulletin so it is not that urgent.**

Anyway I uploaded everything, and ran the install.php file already. And all the database info, ect ect, are all functional. Even the index file is functional.
But the cpanel for some reason brings up a blank white page.

    See for yourself:

    So whats the problem here?
Thanks greatly for your time n help.

Make sure you uploaded admin/index.php in ASCII.

My ftp client is cute_ftp. Therefore it does all that stuff automatically. Any other suggestions?

      Thanks.

It does not necessarily do that automatically. FTP clients come with preconfigured lists of ASCII files, but they do not necessarily include all the file types you need. Set the mode to ASCII manually before transferring the vB files. (See your FTP client's documentation for how to do this.)

              Hmmm...it worked for this person:

              http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...threadid=43370

The only other thing I can suggest is to fill out an official support request at:

              http://www.vbulletin.com/members/support.php

Be sure to include the info needed to access you Admin CP and FTP. They'll need these to troubleshoot the problem.

                It still doesnt work.

And I am pretty sure I am uploading in ASCII mode.
Look at what the Cute_FTP says:

                -------------------------------
                COMMAND:> pwd
                257 "/public_html/webhost/admin" is current directory.
                COMMAND:> TYPE A
                200 Type set to A.
                STATUS:> Retrieving directory listing...
                COMMAND:> PORT ---,---,---,--,--,---
                200 PORT command successful.
                COMMAND:> LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list.
                STATUS:> Received 2605 bytes Ok.
                STATUS:> Time: 0:00:01, Efficiency: 2.54 KBytes/s (2605 bytes/s)
                226 Transfer complete.
                STATUS:> Done.

I don't see anything in your listing that shows that you uploaded the index.php file in ASCII. All you did here was get a directory listing. Did you fill out a support request like I suggested?
