  • Sub Forums Questions

I created a new forum Test and wanted to move some of my current forum 123 (Category), 890 (Category) and XYZ (One of the forum in 123 Category) to the new forum.

    This is what I did.
    1. Create the new forum ABC and place the parent directory to no one
    2. Edit 123 and change the parent directory from no one to Test.

But when I view my index forum the it shows the new forum Test, 123 and 890 on the index page. How do I make it so that it will only show Test forum in index page and 123 and 890 as Test sub forum?

Here is the structure before the change.

    - 123 -Category (parent directory no one)
    -- XYZ - Forum
    - 890 -Category (parent directory no one)
    -- MNO - Forum

    After the changes.
    - Test - Forum (parent directory no one)
-- 123 -Category (parent directory no one)
    --- XYZ - Forum
-- 890 -Category (parent directory no one)
    --- MNO - Forum

Did you change your forumdepth in the vBulletin Options section to 1?

If you only want some forums to disappear though you will need to make a hack to do that.
