  • IE 6 & vBulletin 2.2.4

I noticed that Netscape 6.2.1 is more friendly with the newest version of vB than IE 6. When I use IE 6 to log in (I tried this on my forums and on this forums, the result is pretty the same), it usually takes more than 4 minutes to log in. But with Netscape 6.2.1, it takes less than a minute. I currently do not have IE 5.5 and if anyone can share their experience with how fast they can log in with different browsers, that would be great. Thanks.

vBulletin is always the best forums software.

Interesting. I use IE 6.0 and logging into any vBulletin forums is almost instantaneous. I can't begin to imagine why it would take 4 minutes.

Mine came with XP and I have downloaded every security patch that's been released, including the one released yesterday.

My apology I just found out that my IE 6's so slow could be because of low virtual memory on my computer. And that in turn affects IE 6 but not Netscape 6.2.1

I was gonna say, no browser should take 1 minute to login, let alone 4... sounded more like a server problem to me.
