  • May be an install issue: No one can join!

Posted this elsewhere as well. New members who attempt to join are confounded by passwords don't match on the very first form.

    Even when they do

    HELP!

            I saw that -- stunned

What could account for some people being able to register but not others?

I can create users from admin

and two people out of 22 I know of have been able to get on.
Is it possible I need to me logged on as the admin during the time? I know that's silly but it is the only thing I can think of that the 2 had in common. That or browsers perhaps.

More info - I can't log on from site

I logged out and then tried to log on at the site - which is new for me to try and it doesn't recognize my password. Is this a database issue?

And is it related to the above

                      Sorry about the double posting

                      Clean install of 2.24
                      www.lancairpilots.org/vbulletin
Works with NETSCAPE 4.72 I just tried it
                      Doesn't work with IE 5.1
In fact, with IE you can't even log in IF you are a member!
                      No hacks installed

                            Forgot to say

I was a Mac user with ox 10.1.3

Don't know if this makes a difference, sorry. I'm new to all of this.
