What If I host another board, on my domain

I am confused on how I would minipulate the cookies

like now, when I am at my test board, and when I go back to my real board, it logs me out----- could this be fixed??

like what would i put for each one

    ones at www.mysite.com/forum1/
and the other ones at www.mysite.com/forum2/

    Thanks!

In the control panel options section for your testboard, set the cookie path to the folder that the testboard is in. You can leave the main board set to what it is now.

Do you need two licenses though?

I have my forums at f1modelnews.com/modelforums

If i wanted a beta one i could not have it at f1modelnews.com/beta unless i paid for another Licenses right?

I am thinking about purchasing another license

Its ok to have a Test board thu, as long as its not open to the public

          Now back to my question!

              this is what it says

              Cookie Domain
The domain on which you want the cookie to have effect. If you want this to affect all of yourhost.com rather than just forums.yourhost.com, enter .yourhost.com here (note the 2 dots!!!). Can be left blank.

              Path to save cookies
The path that the cookie is saved to. If you run more than one board on the same domain, it will be necessary to set this to the individual directories of the forums. Otherwise, just leave it as / .

What would I put in for both, given the senario above??

If your second forums have their own sub-domain put that in Cookie Domain.

For the Cookie Path put: /forum2/
                      Translations provided by Google.

To totally make it "safe", put /your subfolder name/ in that vb's control panel and /your other subfolder name/ in the other control panel. (substituting the actual path name for the bolded bits, of course.)

[edited to say] of course, you'll probably need to dump your cookies on your own machine to make sure you're not pulling on an old cookie.
