Please help with registration problem!!

I want to have the e-mail option on for my website, but when it sends them the confirmation e-mail, the activiation code doesn't work. Is this a known issue. Please help.

I am running vb 2.2.1

Any help is greatly appreciated.,

PS. I have a user on the board who constantly keeps registering under different names. This is the very reason I need this option to work for us. It is very important right now. Thank you.

This is not a problem on either of my two 2.2.1 forums.

Did you upgrade from a previous version? Do you have any hacks installed? What's the URL to your forums?
