mysql error: Can't open file: 'searchindex.MYD'. (errno: 126)

Hopefully someone can help me out with this one. The MySQL talbe "searchindex" is displayed as "in use" in the MySQL console and I continue to get the database error above, Because I cannot open the table it will not let me repair it.

Any Ideas ?

try in shell

1. mysqladmin -u root -p flush-tables
2. then shut down mysql and close forum
3. run myisamchk repair from http://i4net.tv/marticle/get.php?act...le&articleid=7
4. restart mysql
5. reopen forums

if that doesn't work also check the file permissions and ownership permissions on your mysql data
