  • Upgrade & Post Count question

Ok... tomorrow I'm gonna upgrade my forums to the latest 2.2.2 from 2.0b5 (after I complete some pruning tonight). When I installed 2.0b5 a while ago, I changed some of the code to ensure that post count was not affected (i.e. decreased) from pruning messages.

However, my question is.... when I upgrade to 2.2.2, will vBulletin adjust the post count to the current number of posts currently within the database for each user? I want to make sure that the post counts are not affected in the upgrade. How can I do this? Do I need to manually change some code before I perform the upgrade? If so, can anyone point out the proper code to adjust? Or does vB now offer an option for this?

Any help is appreciated.... thanks. - the legend will never die!

    Post counts are not adjusted.

You'll need to email [email protected] to get the proper files to upgrade from b5.
