  • Wheres my Database backup?

    I recently lost my entire board, 7000 members and 250k posts

    Anyway tell me if any of these files are my database backup

    Don't you know what you named your backup?

    My guess would be 'dump_mysql.sql' but I have no way of knowing for sure.

      No dont no what I named it...
      I just clicked the do backup button, and that was it...
      Anyway how would I know this is the right file?

      And if it is, what do i do with it?

        The default name for the backup is 'forumbackup-mm-dd-yyyy.sql' So if you didn't change it, then it doesn't look like you have a backup file.

        By the way, the recommended method of backing up through telnet/ssh. There are too many reliability issues when using the Admin CP backup - particularly with larger forums. For info on backing up and restoring the db, go here:
