if you have command prompt like MS-DOS

    you can type
    Code:
    C:\path\to\mysql\bin\mysql -u mysqlusername -p databasename < C:\path\to\backup.sql
    or use

    http://www.scibit.com/Products/Softw...ils/Mascon.htm

and other neat windows and linux mysql clients http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Databases/MySQL/

    does winXP have DOS ?

you could probably use phpmyadmin to import but might throw an error

    or use something like http://ems-hitech.com/mymanager/

    Urgently Needed Help!

    Hi,

I recently formatted and reinstalled php mysql etc...now I need to know how to restore the mySQL *.sql backup that i made.

I am on windows xp pro with apache, php and mysql (all latest versions) with phpadmin.

I can't telnet cause its my own server, and I would just like to know how to restore my backup

    Remember - I'm on Windows!!!
