  • How Do I Limit The Numer Of Posts A User can Post

OK, here's what I wanna do: Some of our users post a tremendous amount of messages, most of them with no real sensefull content. Now I wanna limit the number of posts they may create/reply to per day, so they have to think carefully what to post. Any idea on how to do this or will have to go and hack it myself?

    Thanks in advance!

You will want to check at vbulletin.org for a hack before doing it yourself but there is no built-in way to do it currently.

Well, actually, I take that back. There is a floodcheck which *technically* could be used for this but it's not exactly what you're looking for. It prevents people from posting more than once every X seconds (where X is a definable number). You can find it under vBulletin Options in the Admin CP.
