    Adding new forums

You can add new forum categories and boards and sub's through the admin control panel.

Surf to yoursite.com/admin/ directory and see the options there.

In order to change the menu bar like done on that web site, you have to alter the forum display template's (if i am correct) and most importent, the default images which you can find in yoursite.com/images/ directory.

You are doing great and hit the mark there

Click on 'Add' from "Forums & Moderators"

Add the forum as normally, just keep an eye on this option:

        Act as forum?
(Will act as a category if no)

If you want to add a category, then select 'no'.
if you want to add a board, select 'yes'.

        Hope everything is clear now

... talking of which Floris... is it possible for Admins to change a members UserName...? Or is it simply Jellsoft policy that is the reason you haven't...?

I have a few conditions in my board policy and rules that permit Username changes. One of which is when someone uses their own name in their Username and then realises they shouldn't have and wants to change. Another genuine one is when a member uses the name of their band in their Username and changes band...

Can Admin do this...? I assume it's a Yes?

EDIT: Stupid me - just tried it on my demo/test board and of course Admin can change Usernames... sorry for asking dumb qn

Old Thread! You can easily change a username via the AdminCP User Manager - Just pull up the screen for the member in question and in the "User Name" field simply change the name (delete the old one and type in the new one) and hit the "Save" button at the bottom.
