  • VB logo

Hi. I am very new to website building, and am just starting to build my first discussion forum using vBulletin. I don't know how to get the big "vBulletin instant community" logo off the top left hand corner of the page. Also, I would appreciate any beginner tips for changing the look of my site. Thanks all.

The vBulletinLogo.gif image is in the images/ directory from the official .zip file that you can download through the members area.

You can just replace that image with anything that you want. As long as it has the same filename. Then just upload it to the server again, and no, it doesn't need to be the same hight and width.

However, if you want to completely remove it, you have to alter the template which you can reach through the Admin Control Panel.

I have to go right now, so i can't look it up right now.. and i can't remmber.. hope it helps you on your way, gotta go! bye.

It's this part in the header template:
      Code:
        <td valign="top" align="left" background="{imagesfolder}/menu_background.gif"><a href="index.php?s=$session[sessionhash]"><img src="{titleimage}" border="0" alt="$bbtitle"></a></td>

Is psd file for vBulletin_logo.gif is available? I cannot find it in any designer package.

I'm not sure this is quite right. I uploaded my image and renamed it to vbullentin_logo.gif, however, my image is slight larger than the default vbullentin logo.

If you know how to fix the image or template to allow the complete view of the image, please reply back telling me what templates and modifications I need to do.

                  Thanks,
