  • CGI Error on member.php - recent.

    Hi,

Having a problem with CGI Error on my member.php pages.

    Eg :

    http://www.servicepals.com/forums/member.php

The message reads "The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:"

I thought this was due to a 4.1.0 upgrade, but going back to previous install replicates this problem. I had also installed some hacks, so copied across the member.php from the download ZIP. Still same problem.

Any ideas what else I could do? I've copied the default forums files (only frontend, not admin). What else might cause this problem? I'm at a loss really.

    Cheers for now,

    Ross

almost always caused by permissions set on the file, also sounds like you are running it on a NT server be sure permissions are properly set on all files.

      Win2k

I am running on Win2k, but have never had this problem before - nothing has changed, and I never had to set permissions for the PHP files previously, so I'm a wee bit confused. Is there anything else it could be?
