    I got the exactly same problem. (2.1.1 PHP and MySQL are the latest version, Apache, Unix)

    Make sure there are no spaces in the documents path or in the actual filename itself.

    Also what version of PHP are you using?

    I thought this was supposed to be the quickest way to get support!
    This was never happening before, and it started happening recently.
    No, I even tried a large image, and I get the same message.

    certain very small jpg and gifs are not recognized for some reason, why ? i dont know im not sure anyone does , it happens with graphics appz like photoshop also they just will not recognize them, it could be a slightly damaged file..

    Uploading Image Problem

    I seem to have a problem when somebody is trying to attach a gif or jpg file. All the other file formats work, like .zip and .txt.

    the user simply gets an error message when a gif or jpeg is being uploaded.




    None of the limits of uploading are being violated so I do not know why this problem is occuring.

    Please Help!
