    Attachment Problems

I run a VB 2.0.3 (I do plan on upgrading soon), and the attachment option has never worked for me. I didn't think it was a big deal and disabled it. Now, however, I've had some requests that it be turned on.

I'm not sure why it's not working. As far as I can tell from reading other posts here the attachments are put into the /tmp directory, then switched over to the DB and removed from the directory. I don't have phpMyAdmin so I can't look right at the DB, and since it's moved right out of the directory I can't look at it there, either, to see if it was uploaded.

What happens is I post an attachment in the thread, click to post the thread, and the thread is posted ok. There are no error messages. The little paper-clip icon shows up beside the thread. However, no attachment shows up. I've tried switching between the display it as a pic, or as a link, and it doesnt show either way.

I don't know if it uses the same directory as the Avatars, but the Avatars work fine.

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    Help is appreciated.
    Thanks
