  • No Thread Specified!?

I've had a few users sporadically getting this error:

    > vBulletin Message
    > No thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the
    > webmaster

These are registered members, in fact, I watched one user get this error when trying to respond to her own thread. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

A variety of things will cause this...

      1) The thread was deleted.
      2) They are trying to access it from an email and the whole link is there or not copied and pasted properly.
      3) The thread is in a private forum and they aren't logged in properly.
      4) The thread was placed in the moderator queue and made invisible.

My guess is the problem is most likely #2 or #3 with the limited information that was given.

        WLuke,

        Thanks, but....

        1) The thread is there.
        2) They are trying to access it from the board itself.
        3) I have no private forums.
        4) I don't moderate threads that way.

        Any other ideas?

        Joe
