The 'member posts recount' looks for the username or the userid ? .... or BOTH valid ?
    Thanks.

In PHPMyAdmin or the MySQL telnet utility type:

    Code:
update post set userid=USERID1 where userid=USERID2
Replace USERID1 with his first userid and USERID2 with his second userid.

Associating one member name with another

I have a member who has had difficulties with posting, replying, and bringing up the pages he clicks on. Error messages, You are not authorized, etc. I set up a new account for him with a similar name to that he registered with and asked him to try to post and navigate with it. It worked initially but the problems began again. He's figured out that he must disable vB code and javascript to be able to post and access without problem.

Since he posted quite a few times under the second username that I created for him, which I want to delete, he would now like to somehow combine the posts of member name #2 with his original and desired name so that his posts are not switched to "Guest" when I delete that username. Is there a way to do this?
