Hi,
I want to develop a site where on the normal front page of the site members can login with a username and password (nothing special there). Once successfully logged in, they will have access to a variety of services, one of which will be access to vBulletin.
But I don't want them to have to re-login in order to have normal 'registered user' access to vBulletin.
In other words, I want to separate out the vBulletin registration process from vBulleten itself, and make it part of an independent process. So when, from a menu of options in the members' area, the logged in user selects 'forums', they are recognised as a registered user and given normal registered user 'rights'.
Does anyone have any experience of modifying vBulletin in this way, or perhaps any general suggestions in this regard?
Thanks.
