I am sure this has been asked and answered before, but i have not been able to find an answer by searching.

How can i add a phpadsnew banner to my forum? nothing complicated just a banner at top righ of page.

What I did was generate the code for "combined remote invocation". Then included that code in the header template.

Hello, i couldn't wait so started playing with options and inserted remote iframe invocation code in header, works a treat.

Why do you use combined? is there any benefit?

You can also do this in your phpinclude template:

ob_start();
require("bannerfile.php");
$phpadsnew = ob_get_contents();
ob_end_clean();

then use $phpadsnew in your templates.

I think if you use the iframe alone, it doesn't work in Netscape. Because iframes don't work in Netscape (although I think version 6 does, but 4.5 don't).

This doesn't work for 2 beta 6.1.

At any rate, am I supposed to require phpadsnew.inc.php?
