  • Problems with Mozilla 0.9.6

One of our users send us the following message:

    I'd like to register but I can't. When I press "birth before 1988" I
get back to the forum without any registration form. I am using
    Mozilla 0.9.6 under W2K SP2 with DSL.
Well, I have just tried IE 6 and it worked. What's wrong with my
favoured browser Mozilla? I enabled Cookies, Java(Script) and all that stuff.

The Bat! 1.54/10, Windows 2000 Professional, Service Pack 2

So, is there any problem with Mozilla 0.9.6? We use VB 2.2.0.

    Thanks in advance,

There are no known problems with the default templates and Mozilla or Netscape.

So s/he clicks on the link, and is immediately sent back to forumhome? No redirect screen in between? Can you have him copy the URL that he's clicking and send it to you to post here?

I will contact the user and turn back here as soon as he replies...

        Got the following reply:

I did not save that URL.
Here is another try via (not "www." as there are cookies recognizing me as DaF).

This is the URL in the main URL box of Mozilla:

This is the link of "On or Before 11-27-1988":

        That's all. IE 6 works. =:-|

        Hope that helps,

Is your user perhaps using some kind of Ad removal software?

Also try reverting your signupverify template.

He said he turned all programs of such kind off.

Also try reverting your signupverify template.
This template according to the green color wasn't changed.

I will ask regardign ad removal programs again. Possibly this was the case...
