  • Lost my Birthdays in footer when upgrading

When upgrading to 2.2.1 I lost Today's Birthdays in the footer. Are you guys aware of this?

    Thank you

The upgrade script shouldnt have done this.

Are you sure it was vbulletin that reverted it ?

I hope I am not going nuts.

I just went back in and found that "$birthdaybits" was missing from the template. I homestly did not remove it. I just stuck it back in and will watch it. I am sure it disappeared during the upgrade. Not sure how it could have been blown away but for now, it's back!

          Will keep you updated.

          Thanks

vBulletin does not change any templates during upgrading except the 'master' set.

At any rate $birthdaybits was never in the footer template to begin with.

It's weird but I also had these birthdaysbit problems after upgrading.

I reverted them to the originals and everthing was ok. Thought it was something I did until now

                Thanks

It's reassuring to know I am not crazy.

I hate it when someone says something you know happened is impossible :-)
