Hello, i have my new install of VB and very nice it is too

What i would like to do is this:

add new fields to user profiles, which i have done, but how can i get these new fields included in the search page?

Also i would like to create a two tier board, a general user and premium user, the premium user would get added features.

I beleive this can be done with groups?

Also can this be tied into a payment system so a user can upgrade with out admin input?

if you could point me the direct of docs hacks that may help with this i would grateful

Hi,

Currently there is no way (without hacking) to make custom profile fields searchable, like you want.

You can give different groups whatever powers you want, including denying access to certain forums, or limited involvement in such.

Currently there is no way to tie payment to upgraded user status. You may find something in terms of a hack at http://www.vbulletin.org/
