Forum list of online users

I upgraded to 2.2.0 last night, from 2.0.3

Shortly after I upgraded, this worked just fine. However, an hour or two later, it stopped working. Here's the deal... when browsing a particular forum on my message board, a list of "Members browsing this forum" appears at the top. That no longer appears on the forum pages at my site. I haven't changed any settings that I'm aware of that would affect this. Any ideas?

Hmm... seems like this problem comes and goes. Last night it wasn't working but now this afternoon it is working just fine. I don't know. Kinda weird.

The first time you go to a page it won't list anything if you are the only person in the forum.

I'm having the same inconsistencies on my site. It won't show for some users (even after refreshing a few times) but for others it does. A check of the user table confirms this.

That's right, ethank. That's what I'm experiencing too. Of course it won't show up if I'm the only person and I first load the page. I understand that. But what you're describing is the same thing I experienced. Even after refreshing the page, sometimes but not always, the list isn't updated or doesn't appear at all.

What I did to fix it was set noshutdownfunc to 1 in the functions.php file. Fixed it perfectly.

I have no clue why though!
