i have a problem with Emails not being sent to domains that have two " . " in them i.e. many of the members are on Road Runner

it's very odd because I can send mail out through the same server normally and the mail works so it can' t be the send mail module on linux. It only happens with vB. all other domains work fine.. has anyone had the same problem? or know of a fix for this?
I've already talked with RR support and they are not filtering anything.
