Adding a new field in the profile ???

Lo peeps i've done a search for this but i don't know if there is one,

But when new members fill in their profile on signup i want to add one extra catergory e.g FAV TEAM.

is there a HACK for this or do i just edit a template if so which one i'm a total newbie so be gental with me LOL

Go to your AdminCP. From there scroll down the side bar, and look for the one called "User Profile Fields". Just click the add button, and you should be set .
