I set mine to 30 minutes, but I find 15 minutes works well at most forums as long as people aren't going to be writing essays as responses. The responses at my board tend to be quite lengthy, and I'd prefer people to be able to remain logged in longer and lose the who's online accuracy. After all, you can just check the online list quite easily to see who's still active and who's been idling and forgotten to log out.

What is a good time to set this for to balance accuracy of who is online with the user not being logged out unexpectedly? Jake

How long is that, or is that defined in the CP?

Exactly how does this keep track of members? Is there a "log-out" time? On UBB it logs users out after 15 minutes, is that how VB's works?
