    Who's online, I have read numerous threads on how to add a entry to who's online. I think I have done what was said to do and it still does not work. I have made a php file called chat.php and placed in the root directory of the forums. When Put on the command line and entered it takes you to the chat room. But whos'online still shows it wrong. Below is the chat.php file I made, the changes I made to online.php and the end result of what it is showing.
    Hopefully someone can figure this out.

    chat.php

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    require("./global.php");
    ?>
     <HTML>
    <TITLE>Chat</TITLE>
    <FRAMESET cols="*,1">
    <FRAME SRC="http://chat.realwebhost.net" NORESIZE BORDER="0" FRAMESPACING="0" FRAMEBORDER="NO" bordercolor=#ffffff>
    </FRAMESET>
    </HTML>

    Changes Made To Online.php

    PHP Code:
    case 'calendar':

    $userinfo[where] = "Viewing <a href='calendar.php?s=$session[sessionhash]'>Calendar</a>";
          break;
        case
    'chat':

    $userinfo[where] = "Entered Chat <a href='chat.php?s=$session[sessionhash]'>Entered Chat</a>";
          break;
        case
    'gallery':

    $userinfo[where] = "Viewing Picture <a href='gallery.php?s=$session[sessionhash]'>Gallery</a>";
          break;
    PHP Code:
    case 'chat.php':

    $userinfo[activity] = 'chat';
        break;
      case
    'gallery.php':

    $userinfo[activity] = 'gallery';
        break;
      default:
    End Result

    PHP Code:

      Here's what works on my forums:

      PHP Code:
      case 'chat':

      $userinfo[where] = "Entered the <a href='http://www.optiboard.com/forums/chat.php'>OptiBoard Chatroom</a>";
          break;
      PHP Code:
      case 'chat.php':

      $userinfo[activity] = 'chat';
          break;
      Note that I use the full URL and dropped the '?s=$session[sessionhash]'. Works great for me.

          I don't know if I'm too late. 'Theone' is viewing Main Index at 10:43pm.

            ok Steve everything is like above in my first post except this I changed.

            PHP Code:
            case 'chat':

            $userinfo[where] = "Entered<a href='http://forums.realwebhost.net/chat.php'>Chat</a>";
                  break;
            I tried http://forums.realwebhost.net/chat.php

            and http://www.realwebhost.net/forums/chat.php

            both will go to my chat and I tried both in line above but it still shows main index when someone is in chat room.

                    Here it is. I use the Multicity Chat hack:
                    PHP Code:
                    <?
                    require( "global.php" );

                    if(
                    $bbuserid ) {

                    $user $DB_site->query_first"SELECT username
                    FROM user
                    WHERE userid =
                    $bbuserid);
                    $bbusername $userusername ];
                    eval(
                    "dooutput(\"".gettemplate('chat_hack')."\");");
                    } else {
                    eval(
                    "dooutput(\"".show_nopermission()."\");");
                    // end if
                    ?>

                      steve, just out of curiosity, why are you using this:
                      PHP Code:
                      eval("dooutput(\"".show_nopermission()."\");");
                      and not just
                      PHP Code:
                          show_nopermission();
                      is there any difference?
                      Or you just felt like it when you wrote that page?
