Ok I deleted the config.php.new one.

So how do I get the $pwdincp?? Its not in my config.php file as the only stuff in there is stuff about where my server is etc.

Thats what I have! Why havent I got the rest of it? Is it ok to just add the stuff you posted to my config??

Dunno what $cppassword is (probably a left over from a previous release), but just to be sure use what I gave you, and change the settings to fit your board.

Confused Admin,

You're using an old copy of config.php. You should have just modified the latest config.php.new to your boards specs and copied it to config.php.

P.S. I also missed out on some new features this way. I've learned to check config.php.new with each release.

That config.php is from the Lite version.

Here is a hack that might be useful to you. It's nothing much as it only took me a couple of minutes to produce.

What this hack does is nothing more than display the last 200 private messages. You can adjust this by modifying the limit number in the first query below.

Note:

The above script, I placed in the admin directory with a .htaccess protection file. I also soft linked the images directory into the admin directory so that smilies would show up. ln -s ../images . should do the trick.....

First of all, why didn't you use cpheader() and cpfooter()?
The way it is now that file is totally unprotected.
(unless you have .htaccess in the admin folder, but not everyone does)

And why don't you use vB's class for all the MySQL actions?
And the great functions functions.php provide you!

Actually that 1 should be a -1....

I haven't had a chance to really go through the vbulletin code yet. I just purchased it last week, and sat down and spit this out in 5 minutes (seriously)....

Go into a text editor....

and copy and paste the above code...

save it to xxx.php (well change xxx to whatever you want -- as long as the file isn't there already)

and upload it in your admin directory....
