  • Next Page, and Page #'s Withing Posts Error

    Error occured when upgrading from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 to 2.0.3. PLEASE ASSIST ASAP!

    URL of your forums: http://www.magi-forums.com
    PHP version: php-4.0.3pl1
    MySQL version: Cobalt MySQL Release 3.23.36-1
    Apache/webserver version: apache-1.3.12
    Server operating system: Cobalt Linux 6.0

    Any error message you are getting:
    When doing a search, or going to a post with more than one page, it does not show the page #'s, hence users cannot read all of the post. This works the same with the searches. They can only view the first page. Please help.

    1. update your thread and forum counters it maybe out of whack
    2. upgrade from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3 for more fixes

      I forgot to tell you I already did upgrade to 2.0.3. I just updated my counters, all of them, (except Rebuild search index because i did that 2 days ago) and still, i cannot see the link for the next pages. Here is an example:
      http://www.magi-forums.com/showthread.php?threadid=5173
      This post is 2 pages long, yet it only displays one page without the links on the bottom to go to the next.

      I have also tried reverting the show_thread templates to origonal, and that did not work...

        check to see if you have the variable $pagenav in your showthread template

              Yep, not uploading the 2.0.3 files would have a pretty detrimental effect on running the 2.0.3 pagenav functions
