  • Different Banners

    Hiya,

    i want to put two different banners in two forums, for example.:

    banner a in forum x

    banner b in forum y

    Unfortunately there is only one header template for the whole forum, maybe there is some ad management system out there, which is compatible with vbulletin? If so, which one should i take?

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    (If this is the wrong forum, then please move it to the right one).

    In your phpinclude template, you could do something like this:

    Code:
    if ($getforum['forumid']==1) {
      $banner = "forum 1";
    } elseif ($getforum['forumid']==2) {
      $banner = "forum 2";
    } else {
      $banner = "other forum";
    }
    And put $banner in your header.

      not meant to dig out this very old post... can i modify this way?

      Code:
      if ($getforum['forumid']==1) {
        $banner = "forum 1";
        $bannerurl = "url 1";
      } elseif ($getforum['forumid']==2) {
        $banner = "forum 2";
        $bannerurl = "url 2";

      } else {
        $banner = "other forum";
        $bannerurl = "url others";

      }
      then using <a href="$bannerurl" target="$_blank"><img src="$banner"></a>

      will it works? anyway this variable $bannerurl can i just declare this way?
