  • Attachments not working...Clicking on attachment gets page with little red x...

    PHP Version 4.0.6
    MySql 3.23.32

    Attachments were working fine up until a week or so ago (no changes on my end). The web host had installed a new php version on about the 9th of this month with the zlib library, and attachments worked after that time, at least for a while.

    I have tried turning attachments off and then on, and everything I could see that might do something in the CP, but no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your help.

    Check to make sure you don't have safe mode uploading enabled in your CP. (Or, if you do, make sure the directory specified is created and chmod'ed to 0777)

      Safe mode is not enabled in the CP. Looking at phpinfo, safe mode is off, so I assume I shouldn't have it enabled in the CP.

      Any other ideas?

      Thanks!

        In your functions.php, find these 4 lines (~line 1370 in my post-2.0.1 version):

        Code:
        	  [email protected]($attachment);
        	  [email protected]($attachment,"rb");
        	  [email protected]($filenum,$filesize);
        	  @fclose($filenum);
        Remove the "@" from each line. When you upload a file, do you see any error messages on the redirect page?

          No errors on the redirect page. No different behavior to report at all.

            Fun fun...

            Mind emailing me with FTP access and I'll take a look?
